Our dad was on the job night and day in every kind of weather for thirty seven years, serving people from all over the world. In 2005, a stranger named Kenneth Gregoire Prud'homme made a will in our mother's name and when she died in 2007, Prud'homme, Dawn McSweeney and Debbie McSweeney took everything my father had worked for all his life. Prud'homme eliminated all the children and grandchildren specifically named in our father's own will. Unless there is a murder or a major drug business involved, all the authorities - from the Montreal Police up to Quebec's Police Ethics Commissioner, to the Quebec courts, Quebec's "Droits de la personne", the Quebec Legislature, the Liberal Party, the Conservatives and the NDP - all ignore crime and sit on laws that protect criminals. Phyllis Carter  Cheryl, I agree totally. When I fight, I am fighting for justice. Justice means justice for everyone. It means compassion and compensation and protection for victims and their families and for the innocent. It means prison or castration or death for villains. It means that thieves must return what they have stolen and be subject to appropriate terms in prison. Justice means that the punishment must fit the crime - not accommodate the rich who can afford expensive lawyers or those who have friends in the system. Justice means everyone who is a victim of crime or abuse must be treated justly. Each of us alone can be crushed like a bug by those who hold power, but when we support each other, we have a chance to force the authorities to take the appropriate action. UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL.

THE THIEF HAS A TIGER BY THE TAIL

 

 

 

When Dawn McSweeney robbed me, she saw me sick with cancer and weak and vulnerable. She tricked my own mother into attacking me. The Montreal Police I called to rescue me, helped the thief instead, leaving all my most precious belongings in the hands of Dawn McSweeney and those she boastfully calls her "partners in crime" on her own blog. 

 

And Dawn McSweeney took my place, the place she had so long coveted, as the favoured child in my parents' home.

She could not have imagined that, even though I was sick and homeless and destitute, I would fight for my precious belongings - and for justice for my siblings and their children - day and night for endless years.

 

Don't tell Phyllis Mass Carter that she can't prove what she says. Never doubt that I will. Just watch me. I have been fighting for justice in the case of the robbery by Dawn McSweeney for fourteen years.

 

Dawn McSweeney has a tiger by the tail.
