Our dad was on the job night and day in every kind of weather for thirty seven years, serving people from all over the world. In 2005, a stranger named Kenneth Gregoire Prud'homme made a will in our mother's name and when she died in 2007, Prud'homme, Dawn McSweeney and Debbie McSweeney took everything my father had worked for all his life. Prud'homme eliminated all the children and grandchildren specifically named in our father's own will. WHO WILL HELP DEBBIE MCSWEENEY?

 

I think about Debbie all the time. She is probably the victim who has lost the most because of her daughter, Dawn McSweeney's crimes. We have asked Jewish Family Services at Ometz - rebecca.levy@ometz.ca and susan.karpman@ometz.ca to help Debbie. I have pleaded with them. But they refuse. They say that she has to ask for help herself.

 

So, once again, I reach out to the world in the hope that someone out there has a heart for the innocent and will find a way to help our baby sister, Debbie - because she will always be our baby sister

LIKE THE NAZIS, DAWN MCSWEENEY STOLE PERSONAL TREASURES

 

Like Adolph Hitler and his Nazi henchmen, Dawn McSweeney and her self-proclaimed "partners in crime" stole personal treasures and destroyed lives.

 

This painting by Gustav Klimt was stolen by the Nazis and finally returned to the family that owned it. It took many years, but justice finally came for this family.

Dawn McSweeney and her "partners in crime" stole this, my wedding portrait ... and

 

 

 

Dawn McSweeney and her "partners in crime" stole my husband's trademark Stetson hat seen below on his album cover, Mr. Nostalgia, Cliff Carter, as well as all my best jewellery and my husband's rings and his New Jersey Deputy Sheriff's badge and so much more. Her crimes tore my family apart.

 

Dawn McSweeney also stole the studio portrait of Cliff and me taken at the same time as the album cover by photographer Linda Corbett.

 

How many more years will I have to wait for the return of my personal treasures ?

 

I will keep on fighting day and night until I find at least one person in authority who really cares about justice and who will finally take Dawn and her "partners in crime" before a judge in criminal court and return everything they stole from me and from my family.

Dawn McSweeney's crimes tore our family apart. Because of her lies and manipulation, my parents died after many years of separation from their children and grandchildren. They died without knowing the truth.

 

I was 60 years old and undergoing cancer treatments when I was attacked by my own mother and robbed by my then-teenage niece, Dawn McSweeney.

 

There had been no argument, no discussion, no reason to expect to be attacked - certainly not by my own mother, although I had been nervous about Dawn McSweeney who had suddenly moved into the house with one of her boyfriends less than a week before I was attacked.

 

While under attack, I managed to call 911.

 

The Montreal Police I needed to rescue me - helped the thief instead.

 

The police officer removed me from  my home, physically, by my arm. He told me in front of my assailant that I was never to return and I was not allowed to take any of my belongings with me.

 

The police left me in the street in front of my home without as much as a coat and they just drove away. They did not file a report.

 

Everything I had worked for all my life, everything left to me by my beloved husband was left in the hands of Dawn McSweeney and one of her "partners in crime" - as she calls them boastfully on her own blog - Alex Lavergne - along with the lives and property of my aged, parents.

 

Since a Montreal Police officer participated in the robbery, there has been a solid cover-up through the years. I pleaded with the police again and again for weeks, months, years, but they always refuse to take any action in this case. 

 

The Montreal Police have never made any attempt to recover my precious belongings or my father's property that was stolen later by Dawn McSweeney and a stranger named Kenneth Gregoire Prud'homme.

But all my pleas for justice have fallen on deaf ears. I am in nobody's jurisdiction. I am "too late" for justice.

 

My battle for justice continues relentlessly day and night.

Sharon Danley   ... There are lots of people in prison who shouldn't be too - like the mentally ill and an array of problems due to our questionable legal system. There are much smarter ways to deal with the entire problem. Let's come up with a better plan rather than cavalierly letting people rot.

 

 

Phyllis Carter  There are always excuses for criminals. Insanity is just one excuse. Who in their right mind commits a crime? Therefore, all criminals are insane. But who protects their victims?

 

 

Sharon Danley   Hey folks let cut the hate speech and personal attack for a point of view. Instead let's figure out a way that serves everyone. Not everyone in prison is a criminal. And not all victims are broken for life. And that's not to be disrespectful to either side, but to embrace the facts, the truth and with some compassion.

Sharon. Please give me the name of someone you know who is a crime victim and has not suffered as a result of the crime. Those I know have suffered so much because of the crime and because of the failure of the police and the injustice system to help us. In my case, the Montreal Police helped the thief who robbed me of everything I worked for all my life, and then, because the system refused to take any legal action in the case, the "partners in crime" went on to steal everything my father worked for all his life. I have suffered day and night for fourteen years, struggling to get justice. It has cost me my family, my peace and my health. Because of the crimes of Dawn McSweeney and her "partners in crime"  - as she boastfully calls them on her own blog - and the terrible stress, I am now fighting bone cancer as well as fighting for justice. Now you tell me about some crime victim who has not suffered because of the crime and the injustice.
